Hi, I’m McKenna- the face behind Captured by Kenna Castine. My passion for photography started when I was 7 and picked up my first camera, the rest is history.
I graduated from Texas Tech University in May 2025 with a B.S. in Agricultural Communications and a minor in Natural Resources Management. With a background in communications and creative media, I bring an eye for both artistry and detail to every session. My goal is to create images that don’t just look beautiful, but feel alive, photos that make you smile, tear up and remember exactly how that moment felt.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me exploring new places, hanging out with the people closest to me, or even in front of the camera modeling! I believe every person and story is unique, and I’m here to capture yours in a way that’s timeless and true to you.

WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
I love what I do because photography is more than just a job or a creative outlet, it’s a way to preserve the moments that truly matter most. These are the moments that pass in the blink of an eye, the ones you wish you could hold onto forever. My camera gives me the ability to freeze time, to capture the emotions, laughter, tears and little details that make life so beautiful. It’s not just about taking a picture; it’s about telling a story. Every image has a heartbeat, a memory and a piece of someone’s soul within it.
Every shoot is a new adventure. Whether it’s celebrating a milestone, honoring a family’s bond or capturing a love story, I get the privilege of stepping into someone’s world for a short time and seeing life through their eyes. It’s in those moments that I notice the beauty that often goes unseen, the way a couple squeezes each other’s hands, the way a parent’s smile softens when they look at their child, or the quiet pause before someone bursts into laughter. These are the details that make a memory come alive, and I take great care in capturing them.
Photography has taught me to slow down and truly appreciate the small, fleeting moments. It’s in the in-between glances, the unscripted smiles and the messy, imperfect details that the most authentic memories live. And when I deliver a gallery and see the joy, nostalgia and emotion on my clients’ faces, I’m reminded exactly why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.
The greatest reward is knowing that the images I create will be cherished for years to come, framed on walls, tucked into albums, shared with loved ones and passed down through generations. These photographs become a piece of a family’s history, a record of a life well-lived and a reminder of moments that can never be recreated. That’s why I’ll never stop doing what I love, because every story deserves to be told, and every memory deserves to be remembered.
